This Is What Li Shen Is Really Up To

It’s great to see more of Li Shen in upcoming DAYS spoilers. Instead of just being the guy who periodically flies in to vote for — or against — someone at DiMera Enterprises, he’s becoming a core member of the cast and someone with his own agenda in Salem. But what is the magnetic mogul really up to?

DAYS Spoilers Speculation: On the Surface

We can assume he still wants to make money, just like always. And now he wants Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), both in his bed and in his corner. That’s why he wants the newly awake Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) to focus his attention on Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), not Gabi. He’s lucky that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) wants that, too.

DAYS: Not What It Seems

Let’s get real: Gabi is pretty cool. But she’s not worth all the risks Li (Remington Hoffman) is currently taking. This isn’t about Gabi. This is about Li taking over Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) entire empire. But, no, it’s not just for the money. Like Gabi, mere money isn’t worth everything Li is risking.

DAYS Spoilers: What I Really, Really Want

Li is after more than Stefano’s financial holdings. He wants Stefano’s…i.e., Dr. Rolf’s…ability to mind control people…and to bring people back from the dead. Not only is that the ultimate moneymaker, but it’s the ultimate tool for taking over the world. One state at a time.

Rock the Days of our Lives Vote

Real power comes from a combination of money…and politics. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is reluctant to run for Governor of…whatever state they happen to live in. Li would be happy to take his place. And what’s a more useful tool for a politician than being able to wash minds…not to mention bring voters back from the dead to cast their ballots? Li could soon have it all! Think this speculation could come true? Let us know in the comments section below.
