Former Home and Away star Dan Ewing introduces newborn daughter to her old brother
Former Home and Away star Dan Ewing has shared a tender moment on social media where he introduced his newborn daughter Nevaeh to his 7-year-old son Archer.
Taking to Instagram, Ewing posted a snap of his young son holding his daughter as he smiles down at her with the caption, “My babies first meeting.”
On July 22, the 37-year-old actor, who played Heath Braxton in Summer Bay, welcomed his daughter Nevaeh Catherine Ewing with partner Kat Risteska, who is also a Home and Away alum.
Sharing the news on social media, he wrote: “My darling daughter. You were sent here by one very special guardian angel in particular of that I am certain.”
“Your beautiful Mum, big brother Archie and I are so blessed you found your way to us. Welcome to the world little girl,” he added.
Ewing originally joined Home and Away in 2007 as Reuben Humphries. He was then recast as Heath Braxton for multiple stints, including feature-length spin-offs, between 2014 and 2021.
The new parents received lots of well wishes from their fans and colleagues from the world of soap, with Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson writing: “Awww dan! So happy for you! She is absolutely beautiful! So much love to you and your fam.”
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7plus.
